Anyone here who can give a good answer for how to respond to these people? Clearly they are being manipulated or are the manipulators so how do you respond in a way that deconstructs their brain washing but also will leave you alone?

I immediately invite them to attend my church first and then say I'll attend theirs after. They leave in a hurry to get away from me.

I wouldn't worry about 'deconstructing their brain washing'. When they come to your door, they are centered on reconstructing yours.

If you don't want them to return, tell them. Tell them I am Christian. I don't agree with you. I don't agree with your doctrine. I don't agree with your Bible. I don't agree with your views on Jesus Christ. I don't want to talk to you. Leave me alone.

If you just want to get rid of them there are a range of tactics, involving varying degrees of rudeness. They usually come back after a while.

If you want to get rid of them more permanently, invite them in. Make them a hot drink and make it so hot they can't immediately drink it. That means they have to stay longer, because they can't politely leave until they finished their drink. Then explain why their texts are wrong (just make sure you know their positions well enough to counter them, and the relevant Scriptures well enough to not be caught out). Chances are they'll drink up as fast as they can and get out, and won't be back for a long time.

How I respond to JW's door knocking depends on where I'm at in my thought life, what mood I'm in and if I can be bothered at the time. If we are chatting about religious stuff, I'm likely to point out a few things that make most Christians of whatever flavor uncomfortable.

What I'm also likely to do is point out the great faith it took to contact me by mail during the "pandemic" so we could have some sort of virtual meet up. What a god you believe in that we have to be scared of one another because the governments and televisions said so! Pfft.

Since they have ignored the "No Trespassing" and the "No Solicitation" signs posted around my property. I simply don't answer the door.

It's very simple, don't answer the door. Act like your not home, it saves everyone's time and keeps the peace.

I have said Jesus is God _ the only begotten of our Father. Because you disagree with that _ I have no interest in your teachings.

I had a JW elder stop by. He was totally unprepared for a discussion on "free will". I shared several points from Martin Luther's "Bondage of the Will". The elder remained speechless and more frustrated than I have ever seen before. It was overkill, but irrefutable.
