Thanks for the warm welcome. I do not know if this is the right forum but am looking for some Christian fellowship and friends. However I find this site quite inactive. Is there a time or a thread where members usually post or remain active?

We have members who come and go so there might not always be someone online but there is daily activity.

Hi Kathy, I just noticed I never replied to your introduction so first of all, welcome!

For myself I find internet forums can be a weird thing. I've often found that forums that are really busy either move so fast I can't keep up with it all or I find that it's hard to have a discussion because so many people are trying to chime in and the ones perhaps best described as "less helpful" seem to be the most vocal ones. On the flip side the forums that aren't always busy can often be the ones where I feel more of a connection to the people there.

There's another forum I use that only has maybe half a dozen active members and even then I use the word "active" loosely. But those half a dozen of us have known each other (as well as it's possible to know someone online) for over a decade as we've worked through a few message boards and ended up with our own little corner. Aside from general concerns about posting personal information online it's about as close a match to an online Sunday School group as I can imagine.

You make lot of sense. I am here also to make some meaningful believer connections to learn more about God, understand Bible better and Pray for each other's needs.

I am in MT zone though am mostly active on the site during the day time.

I'm in the Eastern time zone. I am online at least once a day and sometimes multiple times depending on what's happening at home.

I must admit I felt a bit of a putz when I noticed your title that said "Utah, USA" which is a bit of a clue as to what time zone you're in

It's hard to know what times I'll be active here. If you read some of the general chatter threads you'll see much detail about my home renovation project (I won't repeat it here, I don't imagine everyone is interested in all the updates in other threads) so if I'm busy breaking or building I'm less active here.

I like to see different perspectives on things. I don't always agree with people on here but for the most part people here can disagree without being disagreeable, and if anything I find it more interesting to interact with someone who has a different viewpoint because it gives me an insight into different perspectives on the world. It's good to get a variety of opinions.
