What were you like as a child? Were you well behaved or mischievous?

I was a model child good as gold ..lol... now would I tell a lie you bet i would I was a rascal child, always in trouble for doing something, my brother was a good boy until he got to about 18 then he was the naughty one. I was always out in the street playing with loads of kids had a good childhood i think. my mum was a diamond had everyone's kids round our house after school, my dad and big brother used to organise races for the kids great fun till we had to move . then as we got older, dad got ill with cancer had it for 13 years poor man but he was a good dad even then...up till he died and broke my mum heart... eventually after that she lived on her own for years until I said come live with us we have the room, she said she was fine, until I said come for the weekend, she never went back except for clearing the house out with me... she lived here with us for 23 years until she was 93 .. then sadly died in hospital the day after christmas 11 years this year .. never really liked christmas since then..

Aw, you had a really nice childhood!

What games did you play with the neighborhood kids?

On FB I recently got in touch with my next door neighbor and we talked about playing freeze tag, tv tag, riding bikes and skateboarding.

when I was small we used to have snail races in the front garden with all the other kids...

My road was a back road and not very busy.
So dad and big bro used to organise the kids to play ball games and races in the road
and ride bikes who ever won got a reward of some chocolate bar my dad brought home from work...fun times and always good to remember our christmas time was amazing as a child.

How are you doing Jo? Are you making time during the day to pamper yourself? You deserve to treat yourself!

Oh I'm sure he does now Lamm, but going back to CF, is like walking into a wasps nest where you get stung everytime. where you thought people where your friends until they stabbed you in the back and then blamed you for the attack.. .. been there done that a few times now and never again..

And dont have the money to pamper me anytime. got an appointment next friday for physio so hope they can help with the pain I'm in most of the time now...

Hows your decorating going have you finished yet..?

I'm sorry you're in such pain I hope that you find relief soon!

My house is pretty much ready for guests to start coming in this summer! My sister and her family will be here next month and I'm excited for that.

Does all of your family live near you?

Nope my sister lives miles away and haven't spoken to her in years now going on 10 years now she got all nasty with me after our mum died so don't bother with her now being honest we never have had anything in common since I was a child. My oldest brother lives about 20 miles away and I see him a couple times a year but his health isn't to good now but we do keep in contact by phone. My other brother who was 2years older than me died about 13years ago now he was killed in a car accident he lived in Yorkshire until he died like my sister I didn't have much contact with him his fault . He believed you can choose your friends but not your family ... We have one weird family...lol I'm used to it now tho..

I'm glad your house is done I want to do mine but can't right now but hopefully will soon..
