John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Jesus is God and created the world.

Jesus came unto his own, which was Israel, to save them, but was rejected by them.

But many did receive him. The many believed on his name. During the earthly ministry of Jesus they were to believe on his name for salvation; they were to believe Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God.

Hello
Jesus only went to the lost sheep of Israel (Matthew 15:24).
He would command the apostles to go unto the Gentile nations in the Davidic kingdom (Matthew 28:19 Luke 24:47).
However, God has always made provision for Gentiles, they could always become proselytes and believe the Word preached to them by the twelve.
