I love the Book of James, it is almost a condensed summary of how to live in obedience to Christ.

Yet James was said to be slow to believe that Jesus was the Messiah, it is said their other brothers were too. Certainly James became a firm believer after the crucifixion. I do not know if the others came to faith.

This is interesting and adds great reality for anyone reflecting upon these matters of how our families view us. They know our ways only too well, they can be our worst critics.
Again this strengthens the fact that the Bible speaks truth on every level. Jesus dealt with family, so He understands our problems only too well. His home town would not believe in His miracles either and He had to move on.
