Is talking someone into committing suicide murder?

when compared to Christ's proclamation of willingly going to the cross to be put to death vrs Peter's proclamation that it can/should never happen.

I haven't followed it closely, but I think she deserves the verdict she got. She could have stopped him and not encouraged it or at least called his parents or the police and intervened and didn't.

Do you think she could have stopped him? Even if she had stopped him in that moment he might have gone home and killed himself in a different way. Mental illness isn't predictable.

She acted with disregard to human life. I'm not so sure that prison time is the proper consequence though but I do feel that a lot of community service is warranted.

The teenaged brain doesn't always think of the consequences. I never talked anyone into suicide as a teen but I did make some really poor decisions.

Yes just like a doctor helping someone commit euthanasia or those internet help groups that help you commit suicide or does Holland only have those? It's not forbidden here at all. Good to read they call it murder, cause it is. Kids bullying another kid who then commits suicide. Murder.
If the devil tells you you should kill yourself he's a murderer too. Of course you can't blame him alone, but it's still murder. In this case he used her too.

The Bible says that hate is murder, obviously if you loved someone you wouldnt persuade them to take their own life.
