Let us delve into scripture, engage in respectful dialogue with those who hold different views, and prayerfully consider the implications of these concepts for our worship and daily lives. Whether Jesus is described as "begotten" or "eternal," the core message remains: He is the divine Son of God, who bridges the gap between humanity and God, offering us salvation and a restored relationship with the Creator. Through an active pursuit of understanding, we can deepen our faith and more effectively share the love of Christ with the world.

The Title "only begotten Son" about Lord Jesus Christ is a Title applied to The Christ being born of woman like us, but being Immanuel (God with us) walking upon this earth. (see Matthew 1:23 where another one of Jesus' Titles is Emmanuel, which means God with us).

Now what do I mean by His Name, "The Christ"?

The Christ, or Messiah, is a Biblical Title for GOD The Son Who has existed Eternally with GOD The Father. The Book of Hebrews says Christ is the "express image of His person", meaning of The Father. And all things were created through Christ.

In Hebrews 7, Apostle Paul shows that Jesus Christ was the Melchizedek who met Abraham and offered Abraham "bread and wine", and blessed Abraham.

Jesus Christ was Who Abraham saw appear at his tent door, along with two others with the image of men, per Genesis 18. The other two men were the two angels that appeared to Lot, while Abraham stood talking with Christ trying to debate not to destroy any that were righteous in Sodom and Gomorrah.

The name Jesus from the Greek is Iesous. And Iesous from the Hebrew is Yehoshuah . And Yehoshua is derived from The Father's Name Jehovah. (Yehoshuah = Jehovah has saved). So when we say Jesus Christ, we are automatically including The Father's Name with it. They cannot be separated. Only Jesus' flesh being born through woman like us involves any type of His separation from The Father, and thus Jesus' Name, the "only begotten Son".
