God is Good. All of Christ's people know this to be true because it is a basic component both of our faith (meaning teaching) and of our experiences in living the life of grace and faith. That makes me wonder - do we think of God's goodness as being infused into us when we spend time with God in prayer? Have you noticed yourself changing and becoming more good whenever you commune with God?

We have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us so we have His goodness as well. The Holy Spirit uses the word of God to bring out change so yes, when we are in communion with Him or spending time with the Holy Scriptures the Holy Spirit is at work in us :)

Infused is a good term. We're natural organic material that used to be alive but have died to that natural life. Being in the stream of life, of the Holy Spirit infusing His goodness, is like being an old dead branch that has fallen into a stream. The longer it remains the more infused it gets with the components of the HS until the dead wood becomes petra-fied wood. (petrified) so that the natural becomes stone(d)

That's an analogy of Watchman Nee that applies to that well I would think.

In heaven only goodness remains, the heavenly angels are good in a created way and the redeemed who are in heaven are good in the same sort of way that Jesus is good. I think that maybe the redeemed are good in a qualitatively different way from the good angels but that's a guess on my part - I'll find out if/when God grants his goodness in heaven to me (God willing).

my theology places them as
Tathia was asleep until the resurrection. During the time we have now is purifier. My theology only gives one life to get it right and then life or death. That's why it's important to stay in, abide, now because being immersed only needs one lifetime to overcome

I'm not sure if that's common to all religions but I don't believe that I can pray for my brothers to intercede for me. I have to go to the savior myself

But that's just my opinion.

No.

Nothing is being INFUSED. CHRISTIANS in their growth might be inspired or empowered but not infused.

No grace is infused? No Spirit? Nothing?

What is your defination of infused? If you belonged to a Mormon family and lived within it's definition would you not be infused with their culture?

I have no idea what infused is, neither if I look up the translation. Imparted? I'd agree on that. Someone said if you spend a lot of time in His Presence it's like if you put a cucumber in vinegar.

Or a lemon in sugar syrup :)

Infusion means to fill a thing with something from the outside. To fill a human being with grace. To fill a human being with goodness. That's the idea.

So far this is the only verse I'm finding in scripture that uses the term infused:

1 Thessalonians 3:13 May you be infused with strength and purity, filled with confidence in the presence of God our Father when our Master Jesus arrives with all his followers.

Infusion is just a term that I don't hear too much for theology and given only one verse (and in the NIV it's not there), it's hard to use it.

Yeah, not going to CF ;) LOL But thanks.
