I found a bug in my salad at a very fancy dinner one time. There I was in my evening gown and looked down to see a dead bug. It made me not really want to eat any of the other courses (except dessert LOL).

A shed intestinal or reproductive tract lining in a chicken egg from the supermarket. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever had happen to me....I cracked the egg into the pan like normal and this thing just fell out of the egg. I almost threw up when I saw it slide out from the egg and into the pan. I didn't know what it was at that time, it looked like a large kind of wavy worm, light brown.

I found a dead caterpillar in my salad, which didn't thrill me. Thankfully I spotted it before I started eating. The waitress was as apologetic as could be expected, and I ended up choosing a different meal and they comped it.

I saw a cockroach crawl out of my ice tea glass at a fast food place.... I actually showed the bug to the manager - who seemed neither surprised nor concerned, not a bit. Which dismayed me as much as the cockroach.
