Hebrews 6 cannot be understood apart from Limited Atonement.

That is, Christ died only for the elect and these will not fall away.

“No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” 1 John 3:9 (NASB95)

But others who fall away were not the elect. So in order to save them, God would need to elect them for salvation, Christ would need to return to the cross to redeem them, before they could repent and experience salvation. Which is impossible according to the passage.

Also, have you considered that you cannot have saving faith if you think you can be lost?

Also, what about people who plan to return to animal sacrifice if Israel rebuilds the 3rd temple? Haven't these already committed the unforgivable falling away that Hebrews 6 warns about?

No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he
cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1 John 3:9

1John 1:8-10 . . If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his
word is not in us.

Were born-again Christians actually God's descendants, they would never sin; but
seeing as how they are His handiwork rather than His descendants, they will exhibit
imperfections on occasion.

2Cor 5:17 . . If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation

Eph 2:10 . .We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus

Eph 4:24 . . Put on the new self, created to be like God

Col 3:9-10 . . You have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge
in the image of its creator.

Has God ever chastised you for sinning? If you ever experience it, you will not sin again. You will battle the sinful flesh but you won't give in. There's more to this passage than what you assume. Paul says if we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

FAQ: Could Jesus have failed; could he have sinned?

REPLY: No.

FAQ: Why not?

REPLY: Because He was/is God's descendant, i.e. sinless perfection is the norm in
God's line.
