And Psalms also! David was writing Psalm 51 after he did adultery with Bathsheba and then arranged it so her husbands would die. And king David is called a man after God's own heart. Not for the sins obviously, but because he sat down and went, Uh-Oh, I can't get away from God, I better ask for forgiveness and so apparently God really liked how David always came right back Him very fast. Forgive me, Lord...That's why David is called a man after God's own heart.
So, Ask forgiveness and then accept forgiveness, and then put it out of your mind, and praise God!
Psalm 22:3 also!
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel..../KJV
I heard a Teacher's sermon one time on this verse and he said it was poorly translated. That a more accurate translation would read essentially, He inhabits His People who are Praise... So confess and ask and then Believe that you have been forgiven and Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord !!!
