I hate grocery shopping

I don't even have a tv. Oh I have one now from my sister for the wii but you can't watch tv on it. They want Donald Ducks. I ordered a bunch on ebay now second hand. It's just because they have vacation. Normally I shop if they're in school. Now I understand why my parents always went grocery shopping alone and never took us with em lol.

I'm sure your kids didn't dream up Donald in a vacuum. They saw him animated on a screen somewhere, and likely more than just a passing glance.

Now since they saw the television/movie, whatever it was - you will be at the mercy of advertisers selling Donald T-shirts, Donald Toys, Donald socks, Donald underwear, Donald PJ's - and even a Donald fruity flakes cereal with 5 extra vitamins and minerals added to make it look healthy.



Some folks call this "progress" and "modernism".

My sister gave a Donald Duck subscription for his birthday and the teacher said it was good for them to read plus I don't want em on computers too much. I rather have em reading Donald Ducks. They're quite funny. Why don't they have em in the library anyway?

Lot of kids get one every week. That's not enough for my son though. And then the others also want a comic book, otherwise it isn't fair. Any stupid thing I buy is always 3 times the price lol.

It seems especially dangerous to go grocery shopping if you are already hungry. I always buy more when I am hungry. It is better to make a list and stick to it.
