Flooded up to the tops of the mailboxes, as for my home, its on a hill so it didnt get touched. Got lucky. I say sunday or monday, as long as the streets are passable, but no one can say for sure.

Yay!! I'm not near Houston but I'm glad I live on a hill too.
When I lived in another state we did have flooding once in our basement and it damaged many things and we had to have a crew come out to do the cleaning for insurance claim. Bleach is important but it kills brain cells so I hope that the people who do the cleaning themselves take heed and have a lot of air circulation or they will get very sick

If I had to be in a shelter I could tell that I would not be able to sleep, im such an insomniac and light sleeper it would have been very rough. Thankfully im not in Houston, they have no choice but to seek public shelter. Either way I cant complain, happy to be alive.

Some in town lost absolutely everything, the yard is dry now and the grass is dirty thats it, didnt reach the house. The town is cleaning up well, stores are slowly starting to open
