I also believe lack of understanding of socialism. I'm not a socialist, but I do fight against social injustice and elitism, and try to level the playing field for those who are in lower classes so they at least have a fighting chance. But I am not sure any political structure is in violations of the ten commandments. We live in a secular world, and we can expect our governments to be secular. That doesn't mean they deliberately go about violating commandments; it simply means that each political structure is attempting to live out the values reflected in society (or the government itself, such as anti-religious societies or where they try to force religious law, for example).
I wanted to touch on this point. Speak up for those who do not have a voice. I feel the same way about injustice and elitism, but this is not something that socialism can fix. Greed is a human trait in our fallen world and no economic system will ever eliminate that.

The best way to minimize greed is to not let anyone get too much power and the fundamental flaw with socialism and communism is the state has complete and total power. The free market has checks and balances to prevent anyone from gaining too much power. As already stated, we're in a fallen world, so nothing is perfect but the free market is the best we have for curbing elitism and injustice far more than any central planners can do.

That said we are taught we have capitalism and it's main trait is greed and endless growth, but that is far from the truth. Capitalism is private ownership with competition to make better products and better services for society. The competition also keeps wages from being too low.

Now, why are we where we are now? We don't truly have capitalism aka free markets. There are two sides to every economy: the goods and services people can buy is one half and the other half is the medium of exchange used to buy such things(currency). In our economy our medium of exchange(currency) is centrally controlled and managed and not part of a free market. In fact a cartel of bankers have been given monopilistic authority over our currency supply.

Capitalism is an impossibility with central banking. Central banking is, in fact, the fifth pillar of the communist manifesto. Our Federal Reserve is not a state owned entity but is granted power by the state and, like socialism, transfers wealth. However unlike the socialist utopia where it transfers wealth to the lower class, central banking transfers wealth away from the working class and poor to the elite.

What we need is to abolish the central bank and return to honest money away from the phony debt based fiat currency we have now.

successful socialist societies that demonstrate the feasibility of their ideas.
If by “socialist regime” you mean:
• state ownership of the means of production
• one‑party rule
• abolition of private property
• central planning
Then there is no example that did not become coercive or violent.
Not one.

Every fully implemented socialist regime — meaning one that abolished private property, centralized the economy, and empowered a one‑party state — has produced repression, coercion, and mass death.
Not always on the scale of Stalin or Mao, but always present.
There is no historical example of a fully socialist state that remained peaceful, pluralistic, and non‑coercive.
None.

Not all leftists are socialist, my friend. You conflate the left with liberals. I, as a conservative social democrat (who is still compromising with capitalism) would like to address some of these conflations

Plenty of socialist, communist, or otherwise leftist states don’t abolish religion. Your assertion is a rule of thumb at best; china is one of the fastest growing communities of believers on earth.

Typically, under socialism, you and your fellow man are considered equals, not over each other, disqualifying this statement of idolatry of superiority. Equality is a Christian virtue, asserted in Galatians 3:28.

Here lies your first conflation: left does not equal liberal. Liberal social attitudes are prone to depravity considering their widely materialist beliefs; leftism, not *necessarily*. Commonality does not equal contradiction, and although it is common it does not mean that the governmental principles of socialism don’t line up with the Bible (caring for the least of these, redistribution of wealth, labor responsibility). Hollywood is an economic bubble and not a socialist government and isn’t a fair example for this assertion.

The sabbath was made for man and is somewhat variable according to who you ask, so I’ll gloss over that for now.

A few remarks from Marx aside, nothing I’ve seen of socialism specifically restricts marriage or family; communal rearing is not a pillar of socialism economically/legally as far as I know, but I’m not certain on this so I’ll move on.

Murder in the Bible is a legal term, God commands His people to kill and personally kills people all the time. The abortion point is fair and relevant, but again not a pillar of socialism and can be done away with as easily as marriage restrictions, state churches, and irrelevant days while still maintaining the logical structure behind the political, legal, and economic principles of socialism.

Adultery falls under the same thing I’ve outlined before; not a pillar of socialism, just a commonality.

Redistribution of wealth is a Christian concept, outlined 2-3 times in Acts. Also gleaning laws are outlined in Leviticus.

Every government structure is made to address the erroneous nature of man. If men were angels, there would be no need for government” is from the federalist papers. While the revolution shouldn’t replace God, God also allows Greta misery to befall man as “the ends justify the means” (Job, for example).

Socialism typically relies on a desire for ordained equality, not quite “envy of those who have more than you”. While that can be a source, not always the case. Commonality, not consistency.

this was a very spontaneous response that likely contains many answers and assumptions, please correct me where I am wrong.
