I know scriptures don't give a definitive answer but how old do you think Mary was when she gave birth to Jesus? Are there any clues that would make her a teenager?

No clues in the bible.....

But GENERALLY, girls married very young - pretty much at puberty (which then was often 15-16). Guys were often 10 or more years older. The reasons were purely economic. Mary could have been an exception, of course... we can't be dogmatic about this.

Is there anything written to suggest an age in the non-canonical documents?
