Saint Anselm (by the way his father's name was Gundulf) spoke of God as that than which no greater can be conceived. How great is that? Or is it kind of silly?

Nothing silly at all about realizing that God is so great that our minds cannot fully grasp how great He is

I'd say pretty great.

Do you think of God as the greatest of beings, highest on the scale, and top of the orders of beings?

God is the greatest of anything and everything. He lets us know in the Holy Bible ;) Look at how he spoke to Lot.

GOD is outside of comparison to IT's creation. I don't know how accurate the term being is for an all encompassing spirit that formed all observable existence either.

I agree that God cannot be slotted into a scheme of being in which he is greatest since it seems that if God were the apex of being then a greater being can exist consisting of God plus all other beings.

God is outside of creation and we might say he is the ground of being but he is not a being in any sense like the beings he created.

I am glad that God is and we exist because of him. I am also glad of Him, because the alternative is evolution. Those of the primordial soup ideology have no boundaries and no foundation and therefore are as unstable as water, flowing like Hillary to which ever bandwagon pays the most.

Evolution in biology is no threat to God. Fear drives some religionists to claim that biological evolution if true overthrows Christ. This is an absurdity.

Let's think for a moment about the evolution's position, there is no God. Removing God from the picture leaves no boundaries, no foundation, no purpose, and thus all that is left is for man to evolve himself to survive.

Explain that to the Christian biologist who lost their job because of the premise of evolution.
