It seems most people spend so much time seeking that elusive happiness in finding their perfect match. After all, relationship problems are rife, often based on flimsy romantic ideals, destined to fall apart. The reality being that no other person can ever fulfil us. Only God can truly fill our needs.
Looking at how Paul lived as a free man and Jesus Himself, concentrating totally on spreading the Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven, they set the example of an effective productive life.
So is it all wasted energy to want marriage and family life? Yet if we do not obey that urge, the human race would die out.
Is the single life actually best?
