Full zip front is the best as it gives you more freedom to open it up if you get too warm. Ladies may prefer the full zip to avoid messing up their hair pulling it over. Of course with the zip you don't get that nice pass through pocket in the front from left to right side.

I don't wear hoodies. As a rule I prefer things that unzip completely so I can take them off without having to lift them over my head.

Depending on my mood depends what kind of hoodie I wear. If it's chilly I have a zip-up hoodie, If it's very cold then I know I'm going to wear it for an extended period It's a pullover. I have multiple hoodies with different variations that I can use depending on where I'm going . They are something that bring security and comfort combined into one. That may sound odd but best way I can explain it.

Hoodies are awesome in winter or late Fall weather. I have a few that are pull-over (my preference) and I wear some ear warmers underneath. Very Toast-y. I'm leery, though, of those with the hoods up in the middle of summer with no reasonable need for them (as far as I know)
