Doctor was around the corner and took new patients. Dentist took new patients and is cheap. My kids go to another dentist, but they can go for free. My ex has a good insurance, so they get fluoride twice a year and all that luxury stuff like sealing for free. I actually never go, but my molar broke, so I needed one and I'm not going to that expensive one. Took insurance for a year,but it only had to be pulled and I had paid more for the insurance, so I got mouth care extra. Since then I haven't gone anymore and they don't bother me that I have to come.

Our insurance company plays a part in who we go to and from that small list we get to choose a doctor and dentist who accept that insurance. I prefer doctors who are affiliated with the hospital that I go to for all my surgeries because all of my medical records are on their portal. It just makes everything easier.
As for a dentist, I chose one in town.
