When I was a child, I wanted to be a Nurse. I stepped it up a notch and became a Paramedic instead. Even as a child, I liked helping other children who got scrapes and bruises. Was always running home to get band aids, cotton balls and ice cubes. :)

I didn't enjoy working in a church, but liked helping people so went and did chaplaincy work for a while and then decided that I wanted to get to see people more than once or twice, so decided to go into mental health as a therapist.

I literally drew sticks LOL I had some choices between artist, writer or working with children with mental issues and came up with Artist. I went to art school and never regretted it.

I always wanted to be a nurse. I took a long way to get there, but finally went to nursing school. I enjoy helping people during their time of need. I have worked in long term care/rehab as well as home care for pediatric patients.
