I've made a few crosses from wood. I gave one to a friend's daughter as a baptism gift, and she loved it.

My dad brought over a lot of my mom's old curtains and I'm going to be making 3 different projects out of them. I'm going to make roman shades for 7 windows. That's going to be a huge project.

The easier projects will be gifts for family members. I'm making aprons and using some of the lace and fancy fabric to embellish them and I'm also making shopping market bags. I'm excited for the market bags now because so many places are phasing out plastic bags. These can be washed and I'm adding a sheet of plastic canvas on the bottom for stability.

Right now I'm washing and drying all the curtains because they smell musty from being in my parent's basement.
