My parents harbored suspicions about my potential hearing loss, considering the family history. They eventually confirmed that I had indeed lost some of my hearing, but the exact timing remained a mystery. Choosing to stay proactive, my parents made the decision to enroll me in a deaf school at the age of three. However, I found myself in the basement, among students with profound hearing loss, and felt like I didn't quite fit in with the others on the upper floors.
Despite the initial placement, I remained at the deaf school for a while until my parents decided to withdraw me and enroll me in a regular elementary school. Skipping the first grade, I jumped straight into the second grade, finding myself two years older than my peers. Enduring moments of embarrassment due to my age, I persevered through both elementary and high school, putting in extra effort to overcome challenges.
Despite the hurdles, I successfully made it to college and eventually embarked on a career as a designer for a large company—one that notably parted ways with Trump. Through determination and hard work, I navigated a unique educational journey and emerged with professional success.
