For the past year I have been trying to get others to read 1 Samuel 20-22 along with Psalms 52 (on another Christian site) with no avail. It is a lot to read. But I was really hoping someone would take the time.

I believe that is about David eating the priests portion. Yet another thing that shows David as a shadow of Christ

I have read the entire bible a few times so I have no problem re-reading passages. Why won't people read those particular ones?

When David and his men ate the showbread in the Tabernacle, which God's law reserved for the priest, he was obeying a higher principle in the law that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. The priest who gave it to him obeyed that teaching. For example, Rahab, the Jericho prostitute, obeyed that same principle unknowingly, when she lied to the king about the whereabouts of the spies after she believed in the true God.
