Maybe you should ask him what he believes instead of trying to tell us what he believes?

I have already heard his shpeel. I know what he believes. It's a twist of the Roman Catholic version of purgatory.

I was born and raised in a PCUSA church. At about 19, I joined a Lutheran Synod. When I was 23. I transferred to the Lutheran Synod I am now a member of. I knew 2 of my grandparents were Luther and discovered while downsizing that a third grandparent was Lutheran. Not sure what the 4th grandparent was raised but it would be him where the Presbyterian came into play. When I joined the Lutheran church, I felt like I was coming home. The liturgy and teachings were much more in line with what I believed and are rich Biblically.
