Has anyone watched the Handmaid's Tale made by Hulu? I've watched most of it so far. I think it's pretty good and seems like a believable story to me.

I haven't seen it but I read a couple articles where the author states she took real life historic events as inspiration. One of the news articles mentions Genesis 30 with Jacob and his 2 wives and Rachel can't get pregnant so she orders Jacob to impregnate her maid so she can have a child.
