Halloween: Fave Candy!

Okay... in the USA anyway..... soon costumed children (and NO LONGER CHILDREN!) will be traversing our neighborhoods - perhaps threatening harm (but few actually meaning it or even realizing they are threatening it) seeking above all CANDY.

Some of you adults will secretly raid your children's load - stealing the good stuff (and hoping they don't notice) - all in the rouse that someone might have placed something dangerous in there (which NO KID on the planet believes - they all know you are raiding their load).

Some of you adults will buy candy you LIKE for this annual event - but you'll eat it all before Halloween and so have to run to the store on Halloween after work to get whatever no one else wanted to eat before Halloween and thus is still available.

Some of you may even PRETEND to be protecting your little one but you have a BIG BAG too hoping to get your own load.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO....

I can't choose.
As a kid when my one friend came over for a week we'd ask money from our parents, cents and stuff, I think we both got 1 euro. Then we went to an old fashioned candy shop they unfortunately don't have anymore, where you could just stay for 10 minutes or more and order candy for 5 or 10 cents a piece. I want that one, no wait, rather that one, no wait, you can chew longer on that one, but that red sugar ball is also really tasty. Hmm thinking about it, those things and tv lollies, especially the white ones.




How that woman managed to keep up with all those kids in her store I don't know, that was a very patient woman.

I'm honestly not much into candy, but my fave is those Brookside chocolate covered blueberries....

At Holloween, I actually let my parents and sibs raid my stash; I only insisted on keeping the mints and peanut butter cups - I wanted those.

I tried one while living in the USA and it was vile. Horrid thing. I only had one bite and decided never to taste another.

LOL then I'm not gonna try one. Weird. Peanut butter covered with chocolate? Peanut butter is nice on your bread, but it's not sweet. Some kids throw chocolate sprinkles on it though. I never tried it. Weird combination.
