I'll be watching this one closely, just to see what direction he leads the Church in and whether it is back toward carrying the Gospel to those who haven't heard or don't understand it or in the increasingly popular direction of worldly progressivism and a 'all roads lead to God' philosophy in its place.

As most of you know, I grew up in Chicagoland, about 45 minutes from the Loop. I'm hearing a lot of news about places that he went to last year as a Cardinal and even though we didn't live there when he returned from Peru in 2013, it's nice that he is from a place that I'm familiar with.
