Hmmm I was just at one yesterday!! LOL

There is one in Naperville, Illinois that is awesome but I haven't been there in over a decade now. It has really high end, name brand clothes and the prices are extremely low, eg: $4.50 for a pair of dress pants that some even still have tags on!

The clothing at the stores usually reflects the community around it so where I live the clothing choice is generally very plain.

Yes, I don't remember the prices, but I have gotten some books at Goodwill before and some shirts.

I recall buying a high end raincoat (London Fog) about 15 years ago in a Value Village for $5. It was marked as a "second" but I could not find the defect. I still wear it.
