Is there a difference between “good” and “righteous”?

In biblical terms, no. The good are the righteous and that means they have faith in the one true God. People without faith might do what man thinks is good, but it is not good in God's eyes because sin permeates the unbeliever.

It seems to be the same thing. Well, we do know holy isn't perfect, though. It just means you're living for God with constant prayer etc vs someone who isn't.
