So, you all know my skepticism, however, I can say that I can provide you with story upon story where I knew that God had Sovereignly placed me at a specific place and time to accomplish his will. I had no knowledge ahead of time that God was about to use me for the glory of His name and to edify both saint and sinner through testimony and speaking the scriptures to someone. Speaking God's written word does not return void. I love the Bible and believe that every word is God given for doing the work of salvation and sanctification.
God is active in every event. He oversees both the good and the bad (Read Job 2). Please note that God is Great and very active in His creation. That being said, I have no anecdotal story of God creating a sound wave I could understand.

I would say that there are some things from my Pentecostal days that I'd not discount. An audible voice? No. Other experiences such as visions? A few. Biblical support for these things are sort of hard to come by for me to be unequivocal about it, so I chalk them up to personal opinion that the experiences can't be discounted.
