Did God decree everything that happened in the past?

Does God decree everything that happens now?

How about God decreeing everything that happens in the future?

What passages of holy scripture convince you about your answers?

Everything is decreed by GOD, but that isn't to say that we do not have some sort of freedom or rather lack of freedom from sin. I personally believe this to be the means to the end. In other words things happen in the fashion that they do, that we might, in our freedom, learn from them and change our actions based on these past occurrences, or rather the things learned from them. Regardless of if we grasp the reality and potential of our actions or not, ultimately we cannot alter what GOD has or will decree. We can abide by it, or not be at all, in any form.

Some might refute what I say being backed by scripture, but it seems to me that all of scripture verifies it.

Just my opinion though. Probably not orthodox or whatever.

Peace

God decrees water must run downhill. The path it takes doesn't go straight, but takes the path of least resistance, which is a lot like us. We are rapidly descending into depravity, debauchery, destruction, disease, and death, not because God decreed it to be so, but because we are as unstable as water and not strong in faith as He wanted in us. God has decreed an end from the beginning and He has taken in all the variables which are too infinite for the human mind to comprehend in its entirety.

The reason that it happens is because of free will which God honors. We bring this madness upon ourselves because we as a people do not obey Him and His commandments. There will be a remnant who will walk the Walk, live The Way, seek the truth, search for it like a precious gem and treasure it beyond price. These people will climb the narrow path and walk as Yeshus walked, knowing that it is the Way of Eternal Life.
