Minnesota's state flower is the pink lady slipper. It's wild and rare. So...
A person put up signs along US 53 that said "Come see the lady slippers." At a certain dirt road there was a sign telling people to turn to see the lady slippers. After a few more signs people were told to park and go out into a cedar swamp. Under the cedar trees the person had about 20-30 posts pounded into the ground. On top of the posts they had nailed women's slippers for people to see. Many a tourist was seen stopping at the site.

At least they're not charging to be able to view it like some attractions! LOL
