Christ set us free, so that we should remain free. ... what matters then is faith working through love. You began your race well; who came to obstruct you and stop you obeying the truth? [Galatians 5:1-7]

Freedom, like faith, love, and truth, is an essential part of true Christianity. Where freedom prevails, faith, love and truth prosper. When freedom is limited or lacking, they inevitably suffer. —2 Corinthians 3:17.

The freedom which God gave us is for the very purpose that we may express our faith and love to the fullest degree, free from restraints which men, not God, would impose on us. Any willing forfeiture of that freedom inevitably means a sacrifice of truth. For those who would impose such restrictions do so, not by truth, but by error.

To understand what God through Yeshua has set us free from, you have to clarify that it was not to do as you please, it was not to not be classed as a sinner, it was not so that you can be disobedient from His Laws, it was so that you can be free to sin no more.

No..... sin entangles us, embeds within us the chains of weaknesses, and takes us into a tangled weave of lies, deception, defensiveness, that burdens us with guilt and foolishness. This is what Yeshua breaks us free from. Other men are not at fault for restraining us, though they make you believe it.
