Is there a place in your town/city where poor people can get free food?

Most churches in my town have food pantries and there's the food bank. I'm not aware of anything else. The church I've been attending has an outside cupboard where people can get food 24/7.

In my town they have a few places where people can get free food. During the summer, there are farm stands by the side of the road that offer free food because they have grown so much produce. It's wonderful to see online when people post that they've left food out for others.

Our church works with another to distribute free food.... no questions asked. And we have a "farm" where food is produced and given away.

There are food banks. If you have 530 a month to spend or less you may go there. People with a huge expensive house also got in trouble when the gas got 3 times as expensive with Putin, so they could go to. They just look at what's left after paying rent etc.

I just remembered that the church I've been attending has an acre or 2 of land on which they have a community garden. It helps people eat better and it builds relationships with the community.
