Within the Seventh-Day Adventist church, there are, as far as I know, four distinct schools/spheres of thought: (1) Historic, or conservative, Adventism - these are the more conservative Adventists who seek to keep the church rooted in its' doctrines w/out shifting/changing, (2) Progressive, or liberal, Adventists - these, by contrast, either differ in their views on core doctrine/believe that the doctrines should better fit the broader world we live in, (3) MIddle-of-the-Road Adventists (like myself; the MotR is my expression for most of us) - we're the ones who tend to try and keep to the doctrines that make Adventist unique but we also recognize that what worked for Ellen White's generation might not quite work in 2025). Charismatic Adventists sorta fall, Vindicator, in their own sphere - some are evangelical, some progressive, some historic - but they tend to incorporate a lot of televangelism in their approach to the Gospel.
