Independence Day for the United States is July 4. I am NOT a fan of fireworks because of the noise, danger and the crowds. I usually stay home and watch outside my windows.

Do you celebrate? Do you like fireworks?

I think I'm gonna pass this year...3 hours of traffic after 20 minutes of fireworks somehow no longer appeals to me. :D

I like fireworks but don't care for the crowds or vast amounts of traffic.

In London my wife and I used to walk to see the fireworks on November 5th (Guy Fawkes Day). It was about a mile from home and walking was the fastest way to get there. Coming out we'd just agree a meeting point if we got separated in the crowds. I'm significantly bigger than her so sometimes I'd be making my way through a crowd and she'd get cut off by someone else. Usually to avoid that she went first, because people tended to cut in front of me a lot less for some reason :)

I used to live about a quarter mile from the park where they shot the fire works off. I could literally walk home faster then drive after they were done because of the traffic. From where we live noe we mainly try to watch what we can from our front porch.
