I love mousse/espresso cakes, tiramisu, panettone (a kinda cake too for Xmas) personally. A friend of mine has an Italian wife (he's Asian and his kids are half-Asian, half-Italian), she's made me some awesome bite-sized Italian desserts for Xmas a long time ago.

I love anise biscotti, anise cookies, cannoli, and I used to love tiramisu but the coffee is too strong in some of the homemade ones for me.
