My favorite was a large two-sided blackboard I got for Christmas when I was 5. My father and I spent countless hours together with him teaching me the rigors of arithmetic...it was great father/son quality time.
My Baby Dear doll I called Frances. Soft, cloth body and a beautifully crafted weighted molded plastic head with rooted dark hair and the darling face of a newborn, these dolls were made in 1960. Funny thing---all of my dear babies had that thick mop of straight dark brown hair! My younger sister got the blonde one, and her babies were blondes.
I cannot think of a single thing that would be considered a toy that I adored enough to be called a favorite. I had toys, I enjoyed them and then got bored with them.
Probably my first computer. I have fond memories of playing infocom games on it with a friend, and doing my first programming on it.
My grandma had some matchbox/hot wheel cars for her grandsons and I would sometimes play with them, but I only liked the ones with the pretty colors LOL
