Samosas, onion bajis, lentil soup, beef and veggie curries, butter chicken, chicken and beef bryani, the dolsa crepe for me personally. What's yours?

A good samosa (meat, not vegetable). I used to live near a little grocer's store run by an Indian family and they had amazing samosas, if you got in early enough. I'm not a huge fan of onion bhaji but the ones this place had were pretty good.

I really like Indian curries, the hotter the better. I usually went for chicken or lamb curries.

Ahout 50 years ago I was invited to dinner by an Indian professor. His wife prepared a traditional dish that simply blew my taste buds away but I did recognize that the meat was beef. I asked "As a Hindu don't you consider the cow to be sacred?" He laughed and said "That was a Canadian cow not an Indian one!"

What's your favorite Indian cuisine? It might be a while before I get chance to try it - I don't live 10 minutes walk from an Indian restaurant any more - but always up for ideas for things I might not otherwise try.
