Favorite French Dishes?

Various French salads, French baguette with meat or veggie spreads, sandwiches, soups, appetizers, cheese and crackers, fois gras and ratatouille are my personal favorites. What's yours?

Beef Bourguignon. In high school I took French for my language class and all the classes went to a French restaurant and we had to converse only in French. I thought it was fun but most hated it because they weren't so good at the language. Anyway, every year we went I ordered beef bourguignon and loved it.

Coq au vin, but it's similar to pollo alla cacciatore depending on who prepares it. Soupe à l’oignon heaven! Any dessert!
