We have a mom and pop coffee shop in the center of our tiny town. Their coffee is a little too strong for me but very tasty and they have really comfortable sofas to lounge around on while you drink.

We had a really good local coffee shop but they closed down permanently about five weeks after the fuhrer ordered them to close. In a way I'm glad they pulled the plug when they did - it would be a shame for them to have tried to fight the closure only to have run up debts that would have been ruinous for them before being forced out.
Aside from that place I don't really have favorites. I largely avoid chains these days, which leaves one independent place a couple of miles from me that's not bad but doesn't feel like the kind of place I'd want to just sit and enjoy a leisurely coffee or two.
