Do you have a family doctor or general practitioner?

Since we moved I have not found a doctor to go to but then again I rarely get ill. I really hate going to the doctor.

I use a local bulk-billing practise (free doctor's visits and stuff, we have socialist medicine and it's great!). It is convenient and I always get a doctor who knows my history, speaks English fluently (usually an Australian) and arranges all the followup stuff when it is needed. It's lovely. So, Lämmchen, move to Oz and get free medical stuff!

Yes but I almost never see him. Have to get a wart removed but I'm too lazy for that.

Laziness may be the most prevalent disease and doctors usually can't fix it. :p

Keep an eye on the wart in case there are changes!

I had warts when I was in primary school one year. The stuff that is sold at the pharmacy helped a little but didn't get rid of them. The solution that worked for me was to wrap them in a tape that doesn't let air touch the skin. The skin dies after some weeks where the tape is applied, and so does the wart.

I don't have a personal or family doctor, but if I do have a problem I usually see one in my area. Last time that happened was when I injured my finger. I wound up having to go to emergency because it wouldn't stop bleeding.

Other than that I don't go for regular check ups or flu shots or anything like that. I rarely get the flu or colds since changing my diet - and headaches only if I drink too much and don't get enough protein/zinc afterward.

YES! I thought of that after I logged off. Duct tape does the trick and a doctor recommended it when my daughter had a wart on the bottom of her foot!

Yes, I have a doctor. I have been putting off getting my lab tests because of my eating habits and my fear of how bad my results of my tests will be if I get them taken now. But I am going to have to make my mind up to go.

Yes, I have a family doctor and an endocrinologist for my diabetes. Regular doctor is available to help me with general issues, prostate problems and general health issues like if I get a cold. Though sometimes I still go to urgent care if I am in a hurry to see someone.

My employer has a clinic right at the facility, with a nurse and a Physican Assistant. So far, the few times I or my beloved have needed anything, the clinic has been able to deal with it (sometimes, without an appointment). Both are really good about responding to emails, too. But my employer provides health insurance too and both of us have a primary care MD (I actually haven't met mine - I've been told to schedule a physical and meet him, I just haven't done that yet). I like my PA a lot. She's very personable and helpful, she listens and takes lots of time to discuss stuff. And it's very easy to make an appointment and see her (or the nurse).
