What is the easiest way to put eye drops in?

The hardest part is just trying not to waste them and make sure they land in your eye, I just tilt my head back and try to get the bottle as close as I can to my eye.

I sometimes have a hard time

Look up with eyes wide open, pull down the lower lid and put drop in the pocket that creates.

As a nurse, I had one patient who would always close her eyes tightly, getting that drop into a tiny slit I could create was tough.
