Well...who saw it? Who went blind? Who traveled just to go view it? Did you use glasses? Cereal box?

I caved and even though it was cloudy I went upstairs to my daughter's bedroom and looked up using her welding helmet :) I got to see a brief moment of the banana!

Where I live we got a 91% eclipse. I waited too long to buy viewing glasses but I just hung around a crowd of people watching it and then people starting passing them around.

We are fairly close to totality area, but not quite. it did get darker outside, but not completely. I didn't have glasses, so I watched it on television.

I saw a couple of pictures from friends who live in NC. They weren't in the path of totality but they were pretty close. One picture showed a sliver of sun, the other showed "eclipse shadows" which were like a load of tiny crescents. That was pretty cool.
