Very seldom - I don't eat a lot of fast food and it's very rare that I want to eat something in the car. The only times I'd use a drive-through is if I'm on a hugely long drive, but even then I usually plan things so that I can make one stop and get food and gas at the same time as taking a bathroom break.
It's been a while since I've done a drive that long but my wife and I had it pretty well fine-tuned. Usually we could pull in, play tag-team so we could both visit the bathroom without leaving the car unattended, get gas and food and be back on the road within 10 minutes or less.

Yes, I am in my car a lot normally (not as much now with the pandemic) so I have gone through just about every kind of drive thru you can think of

I can't remember the last time I used a drive-thru until recently because of the pandemic and shutdown. I used them all the time more than 15 years ago before I decided to do a "life-change" and lose 200+ LBS. If I couldn't get out of my car, then it wasn't worth it to get something to eat. Now, I have picked up food through a window, but only to take it back home or to the office. I also ate in my car, I do not eat in my car now. I love road trips, but I try not to drive more than 300 miles a day so I make time for a sit down breakfast, lunch and dinner. Does pick-up and curb-side service count as drive-thru? It's not by choice.
