I've never been to one.... I know of none in my area. I understand these were once common, and my Dad tells me this was a very popular teen date place.... especially if you had no intention of watching the movie. But I wouldn't know.

It has been years since I have been to a drive in theater. When we lived in north Iowa, there was one about an hour away. Here in south Texas, I haven't seen or come across one.
