Yes; at our local SDA (Seventh-Day Adventist) church here in Western NC our pastor leads one of several Sabbath School (Bible Study) classes. At present we have five Sabbath School classes, one taught by Pastor Bietz and the other four taught by a couple church elders.

Well, he does expositional sermons where he preaches through a book of the Bible, so yes, he does Bible studies.
He will also lead a mid-week topical study on Wednesday nights.

Since Pastor serves two parishes, the Sunday morning Bible studies are lay led. Pastor does lead an evening Bible Study at each church on a week night.

Typically not in my church, we have Sunday school classes and other Bible studies led by people within the church. The pastor is one of the people who may step in to cover if the regular teachers aren't available.
