Isn’t there something in 2 Maccabees that says something like, “you should commit suicide, because it’s a good thing and God wants you to do it.”?

It’s a holy and whole thought to pray for the dead that they may be loosed from their sins
But that’s scripture until the kjv boys deleted with no authority from Christ whole books and some chapters like dan 13 where we find the beautiful faith of Susana
