Do you think that God hides from us? I'm rather curious as to what other people think about this idea.
In terms of having a personal experience of God, yes God does hide Himself. He can and does reveal Himself at times to us but I can't speak from personal experience of that as the only time that happened to me was when God saved me. Instead, now I have a settled knowing and peace that is always there in the background of my consciousness but no tangible and obvious experiences of God. I find God in the scriptures instead.Do you think that God hides from us? I'm rather curious as to what other people think about this idea.
He always reveals himself through the Bible, his Word, @Vanguard, through his creation, and through other people in the abilities he gives them. I never expect him to give me a direct vision or immediate appearance, because he told Moses that no one may see him, or they would die. Keep reading the Bible, and God will reveal himself to you there. And attend a Bible-believing church and, if possible, a small group of believers, who discuss the Bible and pray for each other's needs; God will reveal himself to you through other Christians.Do you think that God hides from us?
