We try to mix it up. Turmeric, cumin, garlic, onion. We created a version of the Emeril’s Essence seasoning out there using organic spices. Helps to give a different flavor to dishes, even if it’s the same dish. An added bonus, herbs & spices help us be healthy.

I use different spices depending on what I'm making. I'm often reaching for my basil, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, red pepper powder, and onion flakes.

Hot peppers, as well as variations on salt and pepper. We've got a grinder that has salt, lemon peel and garlic in it. I used to have a spicy pepper grinder that had black pepper, hot pepper flakes and a few other things that I forget now. I really enjoyed that but when it was empty I couldn't find another one.

There is a chain of stores in Canada called The Bulk Barn where you can buy any spice or dried herb or spice mix in any quantity you want even some very unusual or exotic ones.
